Sönmez ASF İplik Dokuma ve Boya Sanayi AS belonging to Sönmez Endüstri Holding AS, was founded by Ali Osman SÖNMEZ, a well-known visionary businessman in the textile industry. Since the establishment in 1975 the company expanded its production to woven, circular knitted, warp knitted and dyed-printed fabrics.
Since its entry into business in 1976, Sönmez ASF is continually contributing to the Turkish economy through investments, consistent growth and and integrated structure.
STA (Sönmez Textiles Advanced), a division of Sönmez ASF, began its operations in 2010.
STA (Sönmez Textiles Advanced) is engaged in the design and production of reinforcement materials used in composite manufacturing.
With its flexible range of multiaxial and RTM fabrics, STA has adopted a customer-oriented approach to strengthen its competitive edge in the composites sector.
